members dedicated to service, as set forth in the Teachings of Our Lord
and Master Jesus Christ, striving towards universal spiritual growth
& the unfoldment of the Christ Light & Self within each person.
As a non-profit organization, monetary support from its members is not a requirement, but membership is based solely on the individual’s devotion and willingness to follow guidance. Designed to magnify and expand the understanding of God from within, as a school of the Universal Teachings, The American Temple strives to unite the richness of our heritage of many cultures with the mystical experience of Christianity. This is accomplished through personal dedication, meditation, prayer and practice of those Truths in everyday life. Aspirants and members of the The American Temple come from many walks of life and lifestyles. Family is of major concern for those who enter this work and we support the family structure as well as the fellowship that being One in the body of Christ gives to the richness of the fabric of our lives. Service to God through service to man is the main tenet and is made manifest in many forms through charity work as well as teaching and counseling to the general public. The geographical distances between the members and associates of The American Temple are minimized by this advantage of electronic communication. We are connected to our spiritual community through on-line communications and are currently exploring new vistas to better serve our brethren. Although this new technology allows communication with vowed and lay members and associates in ways that were formerly impossible, The American Temple also provides opportunities to local gatherings for worship, prayer, meditation, and teaching.
